UzGasTrade JSC Concludes National Values Week

As part of the nationwide spiritual and educational programme dedicated to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, various awareness campaigns, cultural events, travelling concerts and educational initiatives are being held across the country.

Supporting these nationwide efforts, UzGasTrade Joint Stock Company has consistently implemented a series of spiritual and educational activities aimed at promoting national values and strengthening corporate awareness. In accordance with the approved Action Plan, the Company organised National Values Week from 20 to 24 July 2026, featuring a comprehensive programme designed to foster respect for Uzbekistan's rich historical, cultural and spiritual heritage.

The Week's programme included:

  • the official opening ceremony;
  • the electronic quiz "National Values Expert";
  • the "Journey Across Uzbekistan" educational campaign;
  • the "From the Treasury of Folk Heritage" awareness programme;
  • sessions featuring traditional Uzbek melodies and classical music;
  • activities promoting national sports and a healthy lifestyle.

These initiatives further enriched employees' understanding of Uzbekistan's history, national traditions, cultural heritage and enduring spiritual values.

The programme concluded on 24 July with a closing event featuring National Dress Day, National Cuisine and Uzbek Hospitality Day, as well as a spiritual and educational meeting entitled "National Values – the Foundation of New Uzbekistan's Development."

The event was opened by Ms. Sh. Nusharova, Adviser to the Chairman of the Management Board on Spiritual and Educational Affairs and the State Language.

In her address, she highlighted the large-scale reforms and development initiatives being implemented across the country in the lead-up to the 35th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan. She emphasised the vital role of national values in educating future generations, strengthening civic unity and supporting the continued development of New Uzbekistan.

Expressing appreciation to all employees who actively participated in the Week's activities, Ms. Nusharova encouraged the Company's team to take an active role in the worthy celebration of the 35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan's Independence, demonstrating a strong sense of civic responsibility, commitment and dedication while contributing to the country's continued progress and prosperity.

During the closing event, employees attended in traditional national attire, a presentation of Uzbek national cuisine was organised, and the rich traditions of Uzbek hospitality, customs and cultural heritage were showcased.

The event concluded in a warm and festive atmosphere, further strengthening corporate unity while fostering greater respect for national values, patriotism, civic responsibility and national pride among employees
