On October 9, 2026, UzGasTrade JSC held a cultural and educational event titled “Milliy Party” to encourage women's active participation in society, promote national values, and mark the upcoming Uzbek Language Day on October 21.

Female employees of the Company took part in discussions on the role of women in society, opportunities for professional and personal development, the protection of women's rights and interests, and gender equality.

As part of the initiative encouraging employees to wear national attire on Fridays, participants wore outfits made from traditional Uzbek fabrics. They discussed the distinctive features of national clothing and its significance in Uzbekistan's history and culture.

The event also highlighted traditional customs and etiquette. Participants demonstrated customary greetings, mutual respect, polite communication, and the tradition of serving tea to guests. Traditional Uzbek sweets were served, providing an opportunity for informal conversations and the exchange of ideas.

Ahead of Uzbek Language Day, participants also discussed the richness of the Uzbek vocabulary and the language's expressive qualities. Each participant introduced several words that are relatively uncommon in everyday speech, explaining their meanings and how they are used. The discussion focused on the nuances of these words and the importance of using them appropriately.

Traditional attire, cultural customs, and discussions about the Uzbek language added a distinctive dimension to the event. For the participants, the gathering was not only a celebration of national traditions but also an opportunity to share experiences and perspectives.
